- The Last Tycoon by Scott Fitzgerald (I haven't finished it but neither did Fitzgerald.)(seriously he died around the sixth chapter it think.)
- The Book of Ands by Robert Grosssmith (not sure about the last name but the story is pretty dang cool anyways)
- The five novels of the the Hitchhikers guide to the Universe series and one short story about a young Zaphod
- An amazing article in Surfers Journal (a magazine that is cool all by itself.) called My Friend Margaret. There's another one I didn't finish about a surfing family in Australia that I want to model my family after in some ways.
- The Last Dogfight by Martin Caidin. One of the first books I wasn't forced to read that I enjoyed. If I had chosen another more boring book I might not have read so much. Then instead of reading I would have taken up stamp collecting or something like that. Thank you Martin Caidin.
- an article in Arizona Highways that explains the orgins of fry bread in native american culture.

I totally finished the article about the surf family in surfer's journal. HA past me.
Hi Commodore -- I'm the Robert Grossmith who wrote 'The Book of Ands,' which you gave a nice plug for (Grossmith: just 2 s's -- whaddya think we Brits are? Sssssstammerers?). Thought I'd let you know I've just published 'The Book of Ands and Other Stories' as a Kindle eBook: 12 stories, half of them previously published, written over the last 30 years. Also a new novel (The Year of Living Philosophically), again as an eBook. If you read these books and enjoy them, please spread the word -- I need all the help I can get!
