recently read stuff.

-Phoenix magazine.  there is a great feature about Arizona's centennial.  even if you don't like Arizona, check it out to see our first governor's awesome mustache.
-Mental Floss magazine.  the cover story is about songs that changed the world.  my favorite was about R.E.M.'s "Everybody Hurts"  read it!
-I'm sorry that there are no books in this list.  I've been on a magazine article binge as of late.
-Columbia Journalism Review.  Its their 50th aniversary and even though I didn't read much of it, it looks like an excellent issue. 
-this  is how my comics should look like.  but alas, I am a bit lazy/busy keepin  up the grades/delivering pizzas all across the WORLD!
-don't worry about the last sentence.  I will produce comics, but not at the rate of that dude.  when he says "I'm gonna put out a comic every monday and wednesday"  I'm  gonna say "the comics will be put out whenever I feel like it cuz I'm not doing this for popularity or because I'm unemployed."  I don't know if that dude is unemployed, but with our economy the chances are good. 
-Print magazine.  The current issue is the design award issue.  awesome stuff.  only one winner from AZ.  I don't know if thats a good or bad thing.  we could all be uncool neanderthals living in the valley of the sun, or we could be so awesome that we don't need to be recognized.  I'll go with the latter. 
-that's all.  not all I've read but all that I would recommend to be read.
