Forgive me if I'm wrong in giving out the answers. It's been a long week and I might have forgotten a few minor details of some answers. I could use google, but that would be breaking my own rule, and while all other rules have exceptions, my own useless ones do not. now lets get this over with.
Tell me what this video game is referencing (without using Google)(that goes for the entirety of this quiz, and if you do, F minus minus on this quiz and on LIFE in general) It's referencing the short story "The Navigators" by Mike Meginnis. Great story. It can be found in the 2012 edition of Best American Short Stories.
and props to the dude that draws fan art referencing a short story (hint.)
very soon a space exploration company will be accepting applications for a permanent expedition to Mars, how many people are they taking, and when are they expected to leave our planet forever? 24 people. and they are expected to leave around 2023. with a few annoying celebrities and stubborn stupid politicians.
What was the inspiration for the Atari video game, Tempest? The creator had a dream where monsters were crawling out of the ground.
David Sedaris has a peculiar style of writing his books. what is it? (hint: it has to do with the keyboard) He types out his books with one finger, chicken peck style.
42. This is an answer, I was just seeing if anyone has figured out the question yet. Sorry Douglas Adams.
tell me one instance where the 4th wall is broken in a book. (I can think of only one and it was only for a few sentences.)(or maybe it wasn't, but it felt most like a form of breaking the 4th wall. It was a brief mention of the character feeling like he was in a novel.) In the book Ghostwritten by David Mitchell, one character briefly has a feeling that he is in a novel. In hindsight, this is more self awareness than breaking the 4th wall.
rapidfire round!
-tell me the character arc of Chang from Community over the last 4 seasons I don't know if I can do this. but here goes:
Spanish teacher to paintball assasin to below average music major to homeless man living in Jeff's apartment to man living in ducts to security guard to insane Dean to Kevin with Changnesia. I might be a bit wrong.
-define pastiche without google, it's a piece of art, literature or film that pays homage to movements and/or other artists. That sounds confusing until I say that Star Wars was a Pastiche paying homage to classic mythology and great cinematography shots. and also Bohemian Rhapsody.
- how long is a moment? Depends on your perception of time. But if you are going by medieval standards, a moment is 1/40th of an hour, or 1 and a half minutes.
-who is a misodoctakleidist? a person who hates rehearsing the piano this font looks different because I tried to spell this by myself, but couldn't so I had to copy and paste it.
-why does pizza exist? it's sooo bad for you, yet sooo good tasting and fun to eat. oops I answered a question for you. Stupid question, and stupid answer WHO WROTE THIS ONE?? Because I refuse to admit that those words came out of my brain wagon and made into electrical impulses that told my fingers to type those words.
that is all I could think of for now. wrong again. I could've thought of more, I just got distracted.
I will wait a week til I give the answers and I hopefully won't forget. I did. but just a bit.
